So *this* is why they use the falling down the stairs gambit as a device in soap operas to off the evil vixen–you really can do damage.

Perhaps this will help: I recently fell up the stairs. Yup. I was in a hurry and tripped on my way up the stairs and banged up my shins and knees something fierce.

I fell down six wood steps in our house. I tried to blame it on the dog but since he was sitting in another room, it was difficult to do.

No dr. visits for me, just gorgeous swelling and bruising.

I could also tell you about the time that I fell cartoon style off the treadmill.
