Is it Spring yet? My feet think so.

Last spring I had a minor love-affair with my Postman.  Meaning I waited not-so-patiently by the mailbox everyday for a week until he delivered a box full of spring footwear.  Unfortunately, I am not waiting for the same box this year.  But, I have been pining away in my shoe-closet, waiting for the non-snowy, non-slushy, non-rainy day when I can wear these beauties again.  Please bless Spring comes quickly!  My feeties won’t be able to go much longer without some peep-toe wedges and some spring colors!  I mean, I’m all about having multiple pairs of black shoes; but sometimes a girl just needs to wear something in emerald-green suede!  Or these gorgeous embroidered mary-janes.  I need a change in weather so I can swap out my (drab, boring, completely unoriginal) winter footwear for something considerably more fabulous!

Absolutely fantastic with a sky-high wedge and a snake-skin looking print on the straps.

Red satin straps and tiny little buckles.  These absolutely qualify as lingerie for your feet; I miss these shoes!  Dear Spring, hurry up!

Swoon!  I wanted these shoes for over a year before I took the plunge and bought them.  $120 for Emerald Green shoes seemed a bit extreme when I wasn’t planning on visiting Oz anytime soon. But $40 on clearance in Santa Monica was the highlight of last January!

Spring just isn’t spring without a pair of mary-janes spangled with embroidered Mexican flowers.  A goal for this spring: find more reasons to wear these shoes!  Mmmm, maybe with a white eyelet shirtdress, or a pale blue cashmere sweater.

What are you going to be wearing this spring?

I don’t think I could pull off wedges. But yours are cute! My coat thinks it should be spring. I have only had a chance to wear my new spring coat twice and I am dying for the weather to warm up so I can wear it some more.

To be honest I’m no fan of wedges… But other than that those green ones are adorable! And the flowers-mary-janes are GORGEOUS!

I’m going to wear old favourites this spring, plus the much awaited inauguration of my red Dr Marten’s Mary Janes:)

My heart fluttered when I saw the green shoes!!

Unfortunately, my office gets to be freezing as soon as the first speck of warm weather shows its face, so I will still be wearing the same flats, but they’re in cool colors! I am especially partial to my suede turquoise pair. I am more excited about busting out the lightweight sweaters and cardigans.

Reading this got me in the mood for spring! Forget that it’s freezing rain right now.

What a great find the green shoes were!

Yummy is what comes to mind when I see these shoes. Ah!

I can’t wait for spring – I will be wearing a lovely new pair of white patent leather stilettos with a bright blue summer dress.

I think I died a little when I saw the green shoes. Seriously, I LOVE THEM so much.

I’m dying to wear my wedges again too. I admit that I am wearing NO hose today with my heels. I figure if spring won’t come to be….I’ll live on without it.

Those shoes are all great. I want to know how you can walk in heels that high. I wish I were a little more graceful so I could get me some fabulous shoes.

Mmm, those green ones are adorable! I’ve got a pair that looks like the red ones, but in a metallic silver that I can’t wait to bust out again!
Also, I think this is the year I finally buy a genuine pair of chuck taylors.

I LOVE the red ones! And the fact that you describe them as lingerie for your feet is priceless! I’m with you…Hurry up spring!

I have barely even thought about spring clothes… trying to focus on back-to-school stuff. But I AM excited to wear my existing wedges!

I’m in love with your green suede shoes. If you ever get tired of them you can always send them my way.

Oh man I love your shoes. I love love love the black ones. I never wear wedges because I’m already so tall, but I can’t wait to buy some new cute strappy sandals, ah, heaven!

I love ALL your shoes – and I, too, want it to be spring soon… Instead of still snowing :(

Feel free to post pictures of your shoes anytime.

No, really. Anytime.

I love those green ones! Oh my dear!

This spring I am going to wear…. whatever Heidikins tells me to. Sound good?

now I really want to go shoe shopping!! If only I didn’t bike to class everyday I would have more of an excuse to buy some….

Comment by Emily

Love them, especially the green shoes. I WANTS THEM.

Heart! Bad thing about my USA trip is that because I’m going all tourist, I’m going to be living in daggy comfy walking shoes, no heels really.

Phwoar… I LOVE those green shoes. You make me wish I wasn’t too tall for wedges and heels.

those are lovely!!! i’m hoping, however, to trade in my jimmy choos for birks and chacos this summer. :) :)

Heidikins, I can’t begin to tell you how much I love that you photographed your footwear and then posted it on your blog. It’s so endearing. And I agree–those are some gorgeous shoes. I’m not even a shoe person, and I think so. I do wish spring would hurry up, though, because I am longing to slip into my Chaco flip-flops again. Now those are some shoes…

Comment by Caryn

I love them all… I covet the green ones. I am inspired and so wish I could find some myself. Any ideas?

Comment by Lindz

Every pair of peep toes that look at me longingly from their shelf when I open my closet. I can’t wait!

Comment by Molly

I love the red ones, but don’t do well with such a huge wedge.

Comment by Tara

Lingerie for your feet! I love it.

My feet could use some new lingerie. All my shoes are old, mostly unattractive, and decidedly falling apart. My shoes are the granny panties of the shoe world. Sigh.
