You pull out things you don't want, your friends pull out things they don't want and you have a little party of exchanging them all. The only trick is that you have to have friends that are relatively close to your size. My sister and I loan clothes all the time. You might have a skirt that has a pattern or something so you can only wear it once in a while so you trade that kind of stuff. I do the same thing with groceries--I can buy out the entire grocery store, but once I get those groceries home, I am at a loss for what to eat for dinner, because they just don't look as appetizing on my own shelves as on the store's.
