First things first; there are some of you “internet people” that know WAAAAY too much about me. Is it ok to meet you in real life? Last summer while I was in Chicago I met up with Lou from A View from the Park fame, and was thrilled at how she is as fantastically funny in real life as she is on her blog. (Hi Lou! You are still my favorite person in Chicago!) Last Thursday The Handsome Vampire & I met up with Isabel and Jihan for some mexican food and a LOT of chatting. They are both as awesome in real-life as they seem in their blogs; we hit it off immediately and I only felt a little sorry for the poor guy who had to sit there and listen to us ramble off about fellow bloggers and all the tidbits that we don’t put on our blogs. (Gasp! What? Yes. Some things are banned from my blog for my own personal sanity and avoidance of awkward conversations from my real-life friends/family who actualy look at my blog from time to time.)
I’m not so niave as to think that EVERYONE you meet online is as awesome as these two ladies; I’m sure some of you are genuine creeps (no, not you, or you or you… but you know what I mean). But I must say; those Seattle bloggers are fantastic!
And, as for everyone else in Seattle -you are also quite lovely. But, because you don’t know the inner-workings of my somewhat warped blogging mind, I’m gonna stick with Isabel and Jihan.
