The Boy: Part the First

• Someone knew I was having a rough day and brought me a little box of my favorite chocolates.
• Someone scraped all the snow and ice off my car without me knowing, leaving some very suspicious footprints.
• Someone rubbed all the knots out of my shoulders without complaint.
• Someone teased me mercilessly about my bowling skillz, but put his arm around me while we waited for the others to have their turn.
• Someone heard that I was a little bummed one of my favorite songs was no longer on the radio, and someone brought me the Blue October CD.
• Someone watched my favorite Christmas movie (The Snowman) with me, just because.
• Someone held my hand while I picked my way across the icy parking lot in heels.
• Someone watched the last bit of Will & Grace, even though he really doesn’t watch Will & Grace.
• Someone gives me butterfly kisses on my cheek while I’m snuggled up on his chest.
• Someone runs his fingers through my hair and kisses my forehead while we watch movies.
• Someone tells me I’m adorable and teases me about my quirks.
• Someone already asked me out for New Year’s Eve, and no, I have no idea what I’m going to wear. (*Thanks for the apostrophe correction RA, am too googly to even notice super important things like that! Clearly, I am pathetic!)
