You may think that your favorite Mexican restaurant has killer burritos, and it may be true. But a small restaurant in The Mission district of San Francsico has proclaimed in neon letters that they have the best burritos in the world. Uzi and I went to La Taqueria on Friday for a sort of last hurrah on Mexican food from the Mission. Uzi is moving to Salt Lake next week, and our entire weekend was more-or-less spent eating our way through San Francisco. But first, the burritos:
This is what a little piece of Hispanic heaven looks like, conveniently wrapped in a tortilla and with a side of sour cream. Here in Utah most people are fairly fond of Cafe Rio, but I must say – I think La Taqueria has them beat on burritos; they are absolute heaven.

Woohoo! East coast mexican is nothing in comparison with california mexican food. (While I’ve never been to SF, I’ve put in my time in the LA-area).
Delish.
