It’s official. I’m a nerd. I spent most of my Friday night trying to figure out some new HTML code. I was trying to find the piece of code that will make those little title boxes of descriptions pop up when you hover your mouse over a picture or link. I looked at websites, and called my computer-nerd brother and left a message, (“hey One, it’s Four, have a question on html, call me when you have a second”) I looked at MORE websites. Finally, my brother called me back. The conversation went something like this: [heidikins' phone ringing]
heidikins: bueno!
kotfu: You have. To add. A “>” To. The. End!!! Have I taught you NOTHING?!?
heidikins: Well, I KNOW that! Hello! Contrary to popular family opinion, I am NOT a blazing incompetent!
kotfu: [laughing like a true nerd] ok, so really, what’s the deal…
Well, after a few minutes of chit-chat and a few more websites, we figured it out. And now I can add funny quotes to the link for my brother’s web page. Ha! See! How cool is that!?!
I also redesigned some of my blog, which if you’ve been here before you probably already noticed. I have another nerdy confession: I switched over to Blogger Beta, but I don’t use the “layout” feature, I still use the “template” feature where you have to type in html code to add or change things. I just like it better. It works for me; I have more control, I can see exactly what is happening, broken down into pieces of electronic mumbo-jumbo that I am only beginning to understand. But, for anyone who is interested – scroll over photos, links and such throughout my blog to get a little comment from this peanut gallery. So far I have added little boxes of text to my travel photos and my book reviews. I am in the process of finding ones for my blog roll, so if you have a particular quote or descriptive sentence you’d like added to your name link – leave a comment and let me know!

There’s so much fun to be had with titles, but lately I’ve not really utilized them because I can’t handle the pressure of having to say something witty in every one!
Is it just me, or are the links to your archives newly restored? I might have missed them before, but I had a harder time navigating through your archives before.
