CHA – The dream of thousands of Utah women and the demon of my week. The Craft & Hobby World’s Fair, at the Anaheim Convention center was the real reason for my trip to SoCal. The trouble is, I am not craft & hobby oriented. In fact, the only reason I went is because I sell advertising for a related magazine. Ok, and even that is not entirely related, because I sell for a digitally-based magazine – not a paper and beads and puffy-paint based magazine. This trade show will be perhaps the longest 3 days of my life. Yes, there were some interesting things to be seen. Yes, there were some cute things to be seen. But all-in-all, tens of thousands of booths of paper and ribbon and stamping equipment does not get me excited. Seriously, this was something that so many of my friends were so jealous of – and it was a nightmare for me. Sigh… the things we do for money. ;o)

yeah. anything that resembles cute runs opposite of what blood runs through my creative veins. it’s sad, but i’m thankful for crafty people. i like to buy it…too depressing to see what i can’t create. glad you’re back b/c i’ve missed your updates.
