3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica is a auto-free shopping district full of all sorts of shopping. Of course, my favorite are book stores and shoe stores – and the Promenade did not disappoint. I happened to find a pair of shoes that I have been craving for MONTHS – and, they were on sale! I figured since there was still a pair in my size, it was a sign – and I purchased. Besides, who doesn’t love green shoes?!?
Adam & I wandered around for a while, and then walked down towards the pier. I love the ocean, I am actually a bonafide beach bum – without the beach. I’m a little leary of the water – it being where sharks live, and all. But I could sit and watch the waves for hours and hours. All-in-all, Santa Monica was beautiful and relaxing. (Plus, it will forever hold a wonderful place in my heart because of my wonderful shoe experience. wink wink.)
